Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford's real estate investment portfolio just got even more expensive. He just purchased his third home in the Hidden Hills, California area.
This home sold for $10.5 million includes a vineyard on the back of the property that produces 300 cases of red wine each year. It has eight bedrooms and ten bathrooms and a grand pool. The house was originally listed for $13.7 million, so Stafford got a great deal on the property.
The other two homes that Stafford owns in Hidden Hills, California are investment properties, with all three totalling over $21 million. Those homes Stafford purchased from rapper and singer Drake are considered 'neighbor' houses as they are in close proximity to each other.

Hidden Hills is a gated neighborhood known for its celebrity residents, nestled into the Santa Monica Mountains. As of 2021, the population of Hidden Hills was under 2,000 residents.
Matthew Stafford also owned a fourth property in Hidden Hills, which he sold before he purchased the other two from Drake. That home was purchased just weeks after he was traded to the Los Angeles Rams. That home he bought for $19.6 million and was able to sell it for over $21 million just about a year later.
Matthew Stafford's Detroit area home sold for millions
Before being traded to the Los Angeles Rams in 2021, quarterback Matthew Stafford played for the Detroit Lions for 12 seasons. When he made the move, he sold his home for $6.5 million. The 7,700 square foot home had five bedrooms and as many bathrooms and two half-bathrooms.
The home also had a half-court basketball court that was made using the old court from the Detroit Pistons' Silverdome. The home also had a huge wine cellar that held over 600 bottles of wine. All of the floors are granite, and the floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the backyard and lake were one of the biggest selling features in the home.
The house also had a steam room and hot and cold plunge tubs, which is essential for professional athletes and their daily regimen. The house is located on the water in Oakland County, Michigan, just outside of the city limits of Detroit.
The quarterback bought the home in 2013 for $3.5 million and nearly doubled the profit when he sold it in 2021.
