After the NFL relocated the Los Angeles Rams' Wild Card clash against the Minnesota Vikings due to California wildfires, Rams QB Matthew Stafford faced a personal storm. Two of his daughters were hospitalized with flu-like symptoms and the week began with an unexpected detour to the emergency room.

Taking to Instagram, Matthew Stafford's wife, Kelly Stafford opened up about the ordeal on an Instagram Story and posted a photo of two of their daughters, Sawyer and Chandler.

“Last night was long,” she wrote in the post. “Back in beds and sleeping, everyone except Hunter. Feels like she drank a Celsius."

The timing could not have been more challenging. With the Rams’ Wild Card game shifted from LA to Arizona, Matthew juggled preparations while supporting his family.

In spite of their sickness, Kelly, to make things light, reposted Rams' official IG Post. She wrote how the girls had been all smiles accompanying “Daddy on his work trip” before their health took a bad turn.

Thankfully, Sawyer and Chandler are doing better now, as per Kelly Stafford's IG updates.

Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly and their daughters' determination to cheer on the QB is unshaken

By Sunday morning, Matthew Stafford's family had made their way to Arizona, where his wife, Kelly, along with the kids, found comfort.

"Found our happy place in AZ," she captioned a photo of them at Waffle House. “I promise we are happy, just still (sick).”

Subsequently, there were more updates from Kelly.

For the Rams’ star QB, the stakes are high. Both on and off-field. The Los Angeles Rams are entering tonight’s game against the Minnesota Vikings to fight for a spot in the Divisional Round. The game will start at 8 p.m. ET. Talking about the LA Rams' playoff record since 2005, they are standing at 7-5.

The last time Matthew Stafford won the championship was when he was traded from the Lions to the Rams in 2021. He led the team to win Super Bowl LVI, which he couldn't while playing in Detroit from 2009 to 2020. This will be the QB's third playoff appearance since joining the Rams.
