Kelly and Matthew Stafford's four daughters weren't impressed with their home's Christmas lights. Kelly Stafford spoke about the experience on her "The Morning After" podcast. She said she expected her daughters to be excited about their Christmas display but they were very underwhelmed.

She revealed that she told them they were more than welcome to grab additional lights and decorate themselves. She said she received a 'crazy' look when she made that statement.

"And the first day the kids came home, and Matthew, the kids were very underwhelmed with the Christmas lights, Kelly Stafford said. "They were like, Mom, 'is this it?' And I was like, 'if you don't want it to be it, you are more than welcome to grab a strand of lights and you can just go do it yourself'. And they looked at me like I was crazy."

Kelly Stafford went on to say that she told her daughters that typically people decorate their own homes. She told them that she and Matthew Stafford both hung their own lights up when they were younger.

"I said, you know, in the real world, everyone puts their own damn lights up," Kelly Stafford said (1:17). "Mommy did it when I was younger. Daddy did it when he was younger. If he wasn't the Grinch, maybe he was the Grinch when he was younger too. I don't know, but they looked at me like crazy. And Matthew came home and was like, the lights are perfect."

She finished her story by saying that when Matthew Stafford came home, he said that he thought the lights were 'perfect'.

Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly expressed disdain after college football rivalries

Each year during Thanksgiving weekend, some of the biggest rivalries in college football are renewed when they take the field to face each other. Last weekend, the rivalries became heated as fights broke out and flags were planted on opponents' logos.

Matthew Stafford's wife, Kelly, was watching Notre Dame take on the University of Southern California and was appalled by what she saw. Punches were thrown and players weren't penalized. Kelly Stafford said that the sports lacked 'class' and 'sportsmanship'.

"Watching college football rivalry week wondering where sportsmanship and class went. This is somewhat comical and also just annoying. Punching guys with helmets on. How's that hand feel? We all need Jesus." - Kelly Stafford said in a now-expired Instagram Story.

Kelly and Matthew Stafford's alma mater, the University of Georgia, didn't have any massive fights but, they did have to go through eight overtimes to defeat Georgia Tech.
