Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly recaps ‘miserable’ food poisoning battle day before Rams vs Eagles

In addition to bearing the loss of the Los Angeles Rams to the Philadelphia Eagles, Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly battled food poisoning a day before the big game. She recently opened up about her “miserable” experience with food poisoning and how she was “puking” all night.

Kelly Stafford’s health update came in the recent episode of “The Morning After” podcast on Thursday. Apart from highlighting her battle with food poisoning, Kelly talked about the struggles she faced with her kids. Recalling her “miserable” experience, Kelly said:

“I also got food poisoning the night before the game. This is the night before the game. I did not sleep at all. Tyler kicked me all fu**ing night. I've never had a child in my bed. I will never fu**ing do it again. It was the worst fu**ing thing ever. So that's my good bad Tyler. Bi**h talks in her sleep, one. She lays horizontal, two.”

“It was 3:00 a.m. I just gotten done puking for the 9,000th time. You know you're basically shi**ing yourself at this point when you have food poisoning. And I can't turn on the shower.

"I would sleep in the shower normally. But I can't turn on the shower because it's glass, so the light shines through and will wake everyone up. So I'm miserable,” Kelly further added.

Before recalling her food poisoning battles, Kelly Stafford revealed how Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie visited her in the VIP suites at the Rams vs Eagles. Recapping her first-ever meeting with Kylie Kelce, Kelly said:

“That's my first time meeting Kylie. She was awesome. But I was talking to her, she was like, ‘How are you doing?’ I was talking to her. I’m like, ‘I love that my husband made it this far in the playoffs. But I fu**ing also hate it cuz the stress level of playoffs and just like the anxiety.'

“I mean we talked about how I didn't sleep the night before that had a lot going into it but, um, it takes years off my life. I told her that and she knows it. She gets it. She watched Jason but I do think the quarterback position is a little different when it comes to, you know, watching the game play out. But she was very very kind,” Kelly further added.

Kelly Stafford previously revealed how she has been battling with “depressing thoughts,” months after coming clean about using therapy.
