Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly took her daughters to the LA Rams' wild-card game against the Minnesota Vikings on Moday. Kelly's daughters were "sick" during the trip, which made the visit to State Farm Stadium even more overwhelming for her.
During Thursday’s episode of "The Morning After" podcast, Kelly Stafford shared that she felt "guilty" of taking her "sick" daughters to the Rams-Vikings matchup. However, it was Matthew's mental support that helped her fight that "guilt" trip.
"We were sick on that flight," Kelly said (59:30). "There was a huge guilt factor to me going, ‘Should we be on this plane right now because of everyone surrounding us and everyone who has to play this game?’ They were like, ‘Get your ass on that plane. We all need to be together.
"That was such an incredible thing for me to hear because there was a little bit of like, ‘Should I just stay back with my children?’ Matthew was like, ’No, we will do whatever it takes. We are all getting on this plane. We are going to be together right now."

Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly shared an emotional message for LA wildfire first responders
In Tuesday's episode of "The Morning After" podcast, Kelly Stafford got emotional while discussing how the first responders of the LA wildfires are not getting the credit they deserve.
"I've never seen anything like this," Kelly said (0:40). "Just the devastation that has run through California and I could not imagine being a first responder right now. The hours that they are putting in. mean you think about fighting an inferno just like or being in an inferno for countless hours and every second the fires were popping up all over.
"I just pray for the safety of these individuals and for God to come in the hearts of their families and protect them. We don't thank our First Responders enough ever. You know it always takes something like this for everyone to go to the firehouses and to thank them but really we should be doing that all the time."
The LA wildfires took a major toll on Kelly, who recently revealed her struggles with "insomnia" while watching her city burn.
