J.J. Watt and his wife, soccer star Kealia Ohai Watt, welcomed their first child, Koa James Watt, on October 23 of this year. In June, Watt and his Chicago Red Stars superstar wife first announced their exciting baby news in posts on their own Instagram pages.

In Week 8, Kealia shared a cute picture of her and Watt with Koa marking his "first game day" as the Arizona Cardinals faced the Minnesota Vikings on the road.

In an adorable photo, Kealia holds Koa as he's wearing a red Cardinals onesie with Watt's name and jersey number on the back:

Not to be outdone, the 2017 Walter Payton Man of the Year shared a picture of Koa's football cleats on his Instagram:

For Koa, this will be the only photo he'll have with his dad on the Cardinals' field as Watt recently announced a huge decision.

J.J. Watt will have more time to spend with his son Koa

Koa will be seeing his dad more around the house as J.J. Watt has announced his retirement from the NFL. Watt has accomplished a great deal in his career. He's led the NFL in sacks twice in his career and is a three-time AP Defensive Player of the Year.

Only Watt, current Los Angeles Rams star defensive end Aaron Donald, and Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor have won the award three times. As such, Watt is likely to enter the Hall of Fame as soon as he is eligible. If he doesn't, it would be a huge surprise.

For now, Watt is finishing the 2022 season with the Arizona Cardinals and preparing to take on a new full-time role beyond: a full-time dad.
