Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels had a standout rookie season and now his team is in the NFC Divisional Round. Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons, who faced Daniels twice this season, gave his praise of his divisional foe.
During an appearance on "Inside the NFL" on Wednesday, Parsons compared Jayden Daniels' cool under pressure tone, to that of Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes.
"In every moment it just seems like he’s never fazed. So when I see that it’s just like I can’t go against a guy like that. We’ve only seen two guys in the league that’s not fazed like that when it matters the most and that’s Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady," Parsons said.

Micah Parsons, who is one of the best at his position in the NFL, said that Daniels' ability to be unfazed has allowed him to get those big plays when his team has needed them most.
Lions QB Jared Goff impressed by Jayden Daniels' rookie season
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff will take the field for the first time this postseason in the NFC Divisional Round against the Washington Commanders this weekend. Goff and the Lions had an impressive season, earning the number-one overall seed in the NFC for the first time in the team's history.
On Wednesday, Goff spoke to reporters ahead of this week's playoff game and he discusses how impressed he was with Jayden Daniels this season. Goff had similar sentiments to that of Micah Parsons and said the rookie quarterback never looks uncomfortable in his play.
Jared Goff said the Detroit Lions' defense will be tasked with making Daniels feel uncomfortable.
"Yeah, it's extremely impressive, very impressive for anyone that young to do what he's doing. It doesn't look like he is a rookie, it doesn't look like he feels like a rookie. It feels like he understands the moment and is comfortable in it and our job on defense is to try to make him uncomfortable," Jared Goff told reporters.
In 17 games this season, Jayden Daniels threw for 3,568 yards and 25 touchdowns. He also rushed for 891 yards and six rushing touchdowns. Last week, he led the Commanders to a come-from-behind win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round.
