Micah Parsons thinks that Joe Burrow should be named the MVP if he takes the Bengals to the playoffs. The quarterback was pivotal in their 30-24 overtime win over the Broncos in Week 17. It keeps Cincinnati's season alive and they have a chance to make it into the postseason if they win in their final week and the Kansas City Chiefs, who are expected to rest players after clinching the AFC top spot, can defeat Denver. The Dolphins and Colts remain alive too with this result.

Joe Burrow finished with three passing touchdowns, all of them to Tee Higgins, including the walk-off score in overtime. He also had a rushing touchdown to take his tally to four for the day. He threw for 412 yards without an interception, ran for 25 more, and finished with a 122.1 passer rating.

It was a virtuoso performance and even Cowboys defensive star Micah Parsons had to admit it. He posted on X/Twitter, stating that the Bengals quarterback should win the MVP award if he takes his team into the playoffs. He wrote,

"If Joe burrow takes this team to the playoffs I don’t even think it should be in question who’s MVP!! God damm! Best in the world rn!"

Micah Parsons' point supported by Joe Burrow's latest Bengals performance vs. Broncos

We have already put Joe Burrow's stats above. However, anybody who saw the game would have appreciated what Micah Parsons was saying. He was constantly harassed as his protection broke down. He was sacked seven times for a loss of 28 yards. The team had less than 100 yards rushing without considering his numbers.

The entire game depended on what he could do. He made crucial fourth-down conversions and there were times when he took off without caring for his safety.

In this season, where he is leading the league in touchdown yards and passes, the Bengals are 8-8 after this win because their defense has given up so many points. Joe Burrow, though, has been sensational in recent weeks dragging Cincinnati from 4-8 to where they are now. His last game of less than 250 yards came back in October against the Eagles.

Micah Parsons' views certainly are backed up by stats but Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen are also having phenomenal seasons. The Cowboys' defensive star, though, has previously also said that the Bengals star deserves the MVP. Burrow's latest performance against the Broncos only helped him cement his opinion.
