Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr. ringed in his girlfriend, Olivia Carter's birthday with a lovely tribute on Instagram stories. Sharing four nostalgic snapshots from their relationship, Penix Jr. first posted an elevator selfie with Carter and captioned the image, writing:
“Happy birthday to the love of my life! I’m so thankful for God bringing you into my life and everything you have done to help me be the person I am today!”
In another IG Story, the young couple is seen walking hand in hand on an airport tarmac, where Penix Jr. wore a red suit set and tie while Carter opted for a relaxed black attire.

“To traveling the world with you.”
The fourth and final slide was a black-and-white photo of the couple walking down a city street hand in hand. Penix Jr. captioned the romantic photo, writing:
“I have so many things to be thankful for! … You are my happiness. In my darkest times, you give me confidence. In my hardest times, you hold me and tell me everything will be ok. … I hope you enjoy YOUR day! Happy birthday! I love you.”
In May 2024, Carter marked the Falcons QB's birthday similarly. Taking to Instagram, she posted a video montage, clubbing all their sweet memories and professed her love for him.
Michael Penix Jr.'s girlfriend's background
Like Michael Penix Jr., Olivia Carter also hails from a sports background. During her high school career at Kent-Meridian High School, Carter was into basketball, soccer, and track. However, once she graduated in 2018 and joined the University of Nevada, she committed to playing soccer at the NCAA level.
Academically, Carter pursued Biochemistry, balancing her academic schedule with collegiate soccer. She graduated in May 2022.
After completing her studies, Carter moved back to Seattle, where she met Michael Penix Jr., who had transferred to the University of Washington from Indiana University in December 2021 to play NCAA football.
Cut to the present, they are still going strong.
