Michael Penix Jr. may be turning out to be a good bet for the Atlanta Falcons. After veteran QB Kirk Cousins was benched during the later part of the season, the team decided to start their rookie QB.
On Saturday, the Falcons took on the Panthers and Penix Jr.'s fiancee Olivia Carter shared a video from the Atlanta Falcons Instagram account which showed the rookie QB celebrating a touchdown.
"LETS GOOOOOOOO", she captioned her Instagram story.

The Falcons were swinging back-and-forth during the first half. But just before the end of the second quarter, in the last couple of minutes of the quarter, the team managed to secure a 24-17 lead. Their rookie QB, Penix Jr., found Drake London for a 20-yard touchdown with just three seconds left in the second quarter.

Penix Jr. decided to debut his bow and arrow celebration for the moment and his fiancee took to Instagram to share a video of this.
A little over a week ago, Michael Penix Jr. had scored his first career touchdown in the Falcons' game against the Washington Commanders. Carter posted a picture from the Falcons' official Instagram page to mark her fiance's achievement and captioned it:

The couple announced their engagement recently. Carter posted a series of pictures on Instagram, sharing glimpses of the proposal and the engagement with fans. In the pictures she shared, the couple was joined by family members for their special day and they posed in front of a huge "Marry Me" sign.
