Wideout Mike Evans was listed as "Did Not Participate" twice in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' injury reports last week ahead of the Week 14 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. After returning to the practice field in a limited capacity on Friday, the team designated him questionable for Sunday's game.

However, the 31-year-old suited up and played at Raymond James Stadium, collecting four receptions for 69 yards in the Bucs' 28-13 win.

As the Buccaneers began preparations for their Week 15 matchup with the LA Chargers on Wednesday, they did not hold a full practice. Rather, the players held a walkthrough, with Evans and nine other players classified as nonparticipants. According to the injury report, the former first-round pick is dealing with a hamstring issue.

Evans was not present in practice on Thursday either, which raised questions about his availability for Sunday's matchup with the Chargers.

According to Greg Auman of Fox Sports, Evans returned to the Bucs' practice on Friday and will avoid an injury designation for this week's game at Los Angeles.

Fans of the Buccaneers and fantasy managers were waiting to see Friday's practice report to have a sense of Evans' potential availability for Week 15. Now that he participated in practice there's no need to worry about the veteran's status for Sunday anymore.

Evans will continue playing through the injury as he did in the last few games, but there's a chance he's still not fully recovered from the same hamstring injury that kept him out of three games earlier in the season.

Evans is unquestionably the focal point of the Buccaneers' passing offense when available, and since the team is still vying for a postseason berth, they are likely attempting to get him in peak playing shape by limiting his practice volume.

Mike Evans injury update: What happened to the Buccaneers' wideout?

Mike Evans has been dealing with this hamstring issue, on his right leg, since the Week 7 matchup between the Buccaneers and the Baltimore Ravens. He missed games against the San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons from Week 8-10 due to the injury.

Though he played in recent games against the Carolina Panthers, New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders, he doesn't seem to have fully recovered.

Having said that, Mike Evans is expected to play against the Chargers in Week 15 after he reportedly returned to practice on Friday.
