Sean Payton is currently the most sought-after head coach in the NFL, it would appear. The former New Orleans Saints head coach is expected to return to the NFL next season, with multiple teams in for his services.
Some anticipate Payton and Tom Brady will partner up in 2023, but it would not be that big of a surprise if Payton joins a team without Brady.
Mike Florio recently stated that the Dallas Cowboys position would be appealing to Payton as well.

Florio believes that if the Dallas Cowboys face an early exit in the playoffs similar to last season, then they might move on from Mike McCarthy.
Here's what Mike Florio said about the Cowboys and Sean Payton:
"The Cowboys is the one that is just kind of hanging out there. I think if they go one and done again this year, after all the expectations they build up through a great season. I think Mike McCarthy could be in trouble."
Florio added:
"If Jerry Jones is willing to buy out his contract. That's one of the things Jones doesn't like to do. He doesn't like to buy out, doesn't like to pay guys to not work. But if he's willing to buy out Mike McCarthy and pay Sean Payton..."
Mike McCarthy's job has been under threat for a long time and the person touted to replace him has been Payton. The Cowboys have an excellent team and if they fail to make some noise in the playoffs then things could change in Dallas.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones likes Sean Payton, and he won't shy away from bringing him in if the coaching isn't up to scratch.
Payton has also been linked with a return to the New Orleans Saints as they are also in turmoil under new head coach Dennis Allen. It will be interesting to see where Payton coaches in 2023.
Could Sean Payton and Tom Brady team up in 2023?
Tom Brady and Payton were destined to team up with the Miami Dolphins this season, but the lawsuit filed by Brian Flores disrupted their plans.
As a result, Payton decided to take time away from the NFL while Brady returned to the Buccaneers. However, Brady will be a free agent next season, and Payton is likely to return to the NFL in 2023.
The duo is predicted to team up but there aren't many teams that could sign them both up.
The idea of them joining forces in New Orleans is being floated, but it's still a far-fetched idea at the moment.
