Quincy Williams, just like other NFL players and athletes, is celebrating Halloween on Thursday. The New York Jets linebacker arrived at MetLife Stadium wearing a "Joker" costume.

A video shared by Dov Kleiman on X (formerly Twitter) shows the veteran defender smiling and taking pictures with kids outside the stadium.

As cool as this looked for the people outside the venue, fans didn't approve of Williams' costume selection. Some criticized that Williams picked a costume that's been overused and doesn't have the same effect it did years ago.

"Most overused Halloween costume please be creative," one fan said.
"2024 joker … just doesn’t hit the same," another fan said.
"Sadly picked a mid Joker lol Heath is the GOAT Joker," another fan said.

Other fans said that the costume went perfectly with how this season has gone, calling the players "clowns" for their 2-6 record.

"The whole Jets team should have dressed as clowns for the way they have started the year," one fan said.

Quincy Williams remains a serious threat on the Jets defense, although his numbers haven't been as spectacular as others might have thought. He's posted 57 total tackles and one forced fumble for a team that ranks last in the AFC East standings after suffering painful losses, including the most recent one against the New England Patriots.

New York Jets owner could make major changes if they don't make the playoffs

The New York Jets have gone through major changes in the 2024 NFL season. They started the campaign with Robert Saleh as the head coach and fired him after only five weeks.

As part of the changes they implemented, Nathaniel Hackett was demoted from his play-calling duties and Davante Adams arrived in a blockbuster trade with the Las Vegas Raiders.

All these moves haven't given the Jets their third win of the season. After suffering losses to the Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers among others, their season appears to be on thin ice.

According to Sportskeeda insider Tony Pauline, general manager Joe Douglas could lose his job if the team doesn't make it to the playoffs.

Woody Johnson is reportedly willing to start over with a new GM that could give a fresh start to the team, but there are still more games to be played before the season is over.
