Earlier this week, wildfires engulfed Southern California, resulting in destruction and lives lost. People were displaced instantly, with many losing their homes. The fire continues to grow due to the Santa Ana winds, affecting multiple areas in LA.

Baker Mayfield's wife Emily reached out through Instagram to those affected, desperately checking for updates.

"Can't stop refreshing my phone for updates on the fire. My heart is breaking for everyone affected. Truly unfathomable. I love you LA," Emily wrote in her story.

Of course, this isn't the first story Emily posted about the fires.

"Sending prayers to my friends, family & everyone in the LA area, being affected by these heartbreaking wildfires! Im praying for the residents, animals, first responders and everyone else being affected - that they may prioritize their safety & remember things are just things.. and I pray these fires slow down," Emily wrote in the longer message.
Apart from Emily, George Kittle's wife Claire and Rams QB Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly also reacted to the fire.
