Ahead of this Sunday's showdown against dual-threat Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens, Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams gave Jackson high praise. While speaking to the media on Wednesday, Adams said that he would watch tapes of Jackson to imitate him and learn how to break tackles:

"Going into my '21 season, I felt like there was an area of broken tackles, was the area that I really wanted to focus on and push and make better. And I was literally finding myself watching Lamar Jackson highlights like in my locker before the games. ... He's the best, in my opinion, [the] best ball carrier ever. No matter what position you want to talk about.
"I don't think anybody's as big of a threat to carrying the football. He's worked really hard to develop in the other parts of his game as well. And you've seen that [he's] come a long way too. ... And you know, getting on the film of that, I don't have to worry about that, but, [he's] a hell of a football player."

Davante Adams' interview was featured on a segment on "Good Morning Football," where analyst Sheree Burruss said:

"Well, Jackson led the Ravens in rush yards since 2019. Even guys this week, Week 1, hit the most rush yards. They even have Derrick Henry. Remember, though, Lamar did miss practice earlier this week because of soreness, because he probably was running the ball so much, but Jamie, as they say, you know, flattery—biggest way to do that is just to copy somebody."

It's going to take some Lamar Jackson magic by Davante Adams and the Las Vegas Raiders to have a chance against the Baltimore Ravens. Ahead of Sunday's game, the Ravens are listed as 7.5-point home favorites, according to ESPN.

Both the Ravens and Raiders are 0-1 after Week 1. The Ravens suffered a close 27-20 defeat to the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on opening night last Friday, while the Raiders suffered a 22-10 loss to their division rivals, the LA Chargers on Sunday.

A win is necessary for both teams, as they look to avoid a 0-2 start. Davante Adams' team cannot afford many losses this season, especially with Kansas City in its division. Meanwhile, Jackson's team is in one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL and could easily find itself in second, third or fourth place with just a few more losses.
