Bill Belichick may have brought the New England Patriots more Super Bowls than any other head coach has brought to their organization, but every leash is finite. That is at least what one NFL analyst believes. The need for results from owner Robert Kraft could set up a confrontation with Bill Belichick's pedigree and force an end to the relationship, according to Domonique Foxworth on Get Up:
"I don't think it's a crazy conversation to have. I think Bill Belichick feels like he's earned the right to do whatever he wants, which he has."
Would the Patriots have a better record without Bill Belichick?

He continued, predicting the owner would ask the head coach to find some new faces:
"Robert Kraft owns the team and if you're going to fail, which they have for the last several years, then Robert Kraft could reasonably say, 'Why don't you go make some new friends and hire some coaches that you didn't already know and modernize this offense?' or do some things that could give them some confidence."
Then, he claimed this could set up a titanic headbutting, leading to a search for a new head coach:
"I could understand Bill Belichick scoffing at that... I could imagine a scenario where both of these guys could kind of butt heads and both have reasonable positions and it could end poorly... It's unlikely, but it's fairly possible."

For a franchise that values Super Bowls, the Patriots have not been able to meet their own expectations. Since winning the Super Bowl in 2018, the team has failed to win a playoff game. They've missed the playoffs in two of the last three seasons and suffered one of the biggest playoff defeats in recent memory.
Despite a mid-season surge from Mac Jones in 2021, the Patriots quarterback has struggled to manufacture a winning offense. Meanwhile, despite leading a 7-8 outfit, Tom Brady has reached the playoffs twice and has a shot at making it a third time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He also won a Super Bowl over the oft-lauded Patrick Mahomes. Based on how 2022 has gone for both players, some are bracing for an NFL without the head coach and the quarterback.
