NFL analyst expresses disappointment with Aaron Rodgers’ regret about Covid-19 immunized comments

Aaron Rodgers has played a few seasons and switched teams since his immunization comments caused a flaming tornado in the media. More than four years since the lockdowns caused by the virus, Rodgers allegedly admitted regret about the way he attempted to dodge vaccination.

Speaking on an August 13 Pro Football Talk episode, NFL analyst Mike Florio claimed Rodgers regretted getting caught more than misleading the public in the first place.

Florio's comments came in response to a book revealing Rodgers' regret. The book is titled 'Out of the Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers' and is written by Ian O'Connor.

Mike Florio: [00:01:03] "I'd rather he regret not telling the truth. He regrets the fact that he gave people like me something that they could use to point at him and say, 'He's full of crap'. He was playing a game. It's disingenuous and it undermines his future credibility," Florio said. [00:01:30][27.3] PFT

For the uninitiated, Rodgers had originally told media members that he was immunized instead of vaccinated when asked about his status with the shots. For much of the season, he managed to skirt by without telling the world that he skipped the vaccine.

However, once he contracted the virus, the cat was let out of the bag. It was then revealed that the Green Bay Packers quarterback, at the time, had not received the shots, instead opting for an alternative treatment with questionable efficacy.

Aaron Rodgers serves as one of the biggest megaphones in the world for conspiracy theorists. Over the years, the quarterback has either openly talked about or been accused of believing in some of the craziest stories imaginable.

One theory he claims to believe is that Joe Biden isn't really Joe Biden. The theory has floated around the internet at times, claiming that the real Biden was replaced sometime before he won the Presidency.

Former Packers backup Deshone Kizer has accused Rodgers of asking him whether he believed in 9/11. Various conspiracy theories have floated around the internet for quite some time, so Rodgers' opinion could fit into a number of sub-buckets.

Former US President John F Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas in 1963. However, the who and why behind the assassination isn't as clear to Rodgers as it was laid out in the public school history books.

Overall, the Jets quarterback believes many conspiracy theories about the United States and its history. Will his openness to thinking outside the box translate into a breakout year with the New York Jets?
