Aaron Rodgers' NFL future is unclear. The 41-year-old quarterback just completed his second season with the New York Jets, but with the Jets set to rebuild this offseason, Rodgers may not be in their plans.
The Jets will also have a new general manager and coach for next season, and they may want to start fresh at quarterback. The veteran quarterback has also hinted at possibly retiring this offseason. If Rodgers departs from the Jets this season, there could be some teams interested in acquiring him. One team that makes sense is the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Former NFL defensive back Domonique Foxworth spoke about pairing up Rodgers with his buddy and wide receiver, Davante Adams, to join the Steelers next season.
"I do not like Aaron Rodgers playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers. But as I thought about it in the break, actually, you might have converted me. If you add Davante Adams, you might be able to convince me. I don't. I don't love it but it might be too good of a deal," Foxworth said.

Why Aaron Rodgers joining the Pittsburgh Steelers makes sense
The Pittsburgh Steelers may not have Russell Wilson or Justin Fields on their roster next season. Both Wilson and Fields are set to become free agents this offseason, and both could sign or end up elsewhere.
Should the Steelers suffer a first-round exit by the Baltimore Ravens this Saturday night, it would give them more of a reason to search for a new quarterback next season.
Pittsburgh has a ton of talent, from elite defensive pieces such as T.J. Watt, Alex Highsmith, and Cam Heyward to offensive talent, including George Pickens, Pat Freiermuth, and others. Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams joining could elevate this team to become more balanced.
Pittsburgh started the season hot, going 10-3 in their first 13 games, but then lost their last four games. A fifth-straight loss and a first-round exit again in the playoffs could lead to significant changes at Pittsburgh.
Rodgers and Adams are set to become free agents after 2026, so a trade would need to happen for them to get out of NY.
