Xaviar Babudar, better known as Kansas City Chiefs superfan ChiefsAholic, has been sentenced to 17.5 years in federal prison. This stems from a string of bank robberies and his punishment was read out today at the U.S. District Court in Kansas City, Missouri.

Babudar, better known for his appearance as an anonymous fan in a wolf costume with Chiefs gear, has become popular with the Chiefs' fan base. But few were aware of his criminal side, as he admitted to robbing banks across multiple states.

Upon learning that Babudar received a lengthy prison sentence, NFL fans responded in a variety of ways. Some used Babudar's actions to take potshots at the Kansas City Chiefs fans in a lighthearted way while others pointed to how he will miss the team's golden years.
