Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12. The Ravens led by 27-20 with just about two minutes left on the clock, but the Jaguars came roaring back and won the game 28-27.

Jackson was unable to lead the team to a winning drive as he had only 14 seconds left on the clock. Reliable kicker Justin Tucker tried a 68-yard attempt for a walk-off field goal. Unfortunately, it fell short.

After the game, Lamar Jackson clapped back at a fan on social media with an abusive response, which wasn't well taken by the community. The Ravens quarterback was frustrated by the loss and a fan claiming that he doesn't deserve a huge contract extension didn't help.

Here's how social media reacted to Lamar Jackson's abuse-laden response to a fan:

Against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Lamar Jackson completed 16/32 throws for 254 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 89 yards and averaged 6.4 yards per carry.

In the end, the Baltimore Ravens defense let them down once again. The Ravens' defensive unit hasn't been able to preserve leads throughout this season, and against the Jaguars, the story was the same.

Trevor Lawrence had an exceptional game as he threw for 321 yards and three touchdowns. The Jaguars are now 4-7, and Lawrence is showing signs of improvement under Doug Pederson.

With the loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Baltimore Ravens are now 7-4 and have a similar record to the Cincinnati Bengals. They have led the AFC North for most of the season, but the Bengals are creeping in now.

Jackson needs to step up for his team as he is looking for a big contract in the upcoming offseason. The Ravens will face the Bengals in Week 18, and the pressure will be high on both teams in that game.

So far in his career, Jackson hasn't been able to perform well in the playoffs, but if he shows up this year, he is likely to secure a big paycheck soon.

The Ravens will face the struggling Denver Broncos next week, and if they fail to win that game, they could find themselves in a tough situation in the race to the playoffs. We shall see what happens as the season unfolds over the coming weeks.
