The Kansas City Chiefs have appointed offensive assistant Matt Nagy as the team's new offensive coordinator. After Eric Bieniemy moved to the Washington Commanders, a position opened up and Nagy took full advantage.
Not many Chiefs fans are happy with the appointment. After Bieniemy oversaw a superb offense for six years that didn't fall below averaging 28 points per game, some fans think Nagy is over his head before a snap is even taken.
One Chiefs fan posted that Patrick Mahomes' career is now over.
"Mafrauds career is over."

Other Chiefs fans gave their two cents on the appointment of Nagy as offensive coordinator and to say the move hasn't been well received is an understatement.
So it appears that most fans are already in disagreement over Matt Nagy's hiring as offensive coordinator, with many predicting that it will not end well for the Chiefs.
Still, it was an in-house appointment and no doubt the former Chicago Bears head coach picked up a few things from Bieniemy along the way. Hopefully it translates onto the field.
Matt Nagy under pressre straight away as Chiefs OC
Taking over a Chiefs offense that has been putting up points for fun with Bieniemy in charge is going to be no easy feat for Matt Nagy. Fans will not want any sort of drop off in production, which means the pressure to perform will be there from the first snap in Week 1.
With the Chiefs either making it to the Super Bowl or an AFC Championship under Andy Reid and Bieniemy, that is again the target for Nagy with Patrick Mahomes.
Whether or not that is attainable remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure, Chiefs fans will let him know about it.
While Bieniemy didn't call the plays, some fans liked the idea of Nagy not calling the plays, instead overseeing the offense in a similar way to Bieniemy.
Whether it works or not is not yet known, but given that the former Bears head coach had a front row seat to the Chiefs' offense last year, he surely picked up a few things.
Not many like the idea of the former Chicago coach taking over, but time will tell if it was the right decision or not.
