"Robert Kraft is moron. Jerod Mayo is a sh*tty coach. I miss Bill Belichick. #Patriots," a disappointed fan wrote.
"jerod mayo must be fired," a fan wrote.

A lot of Patriots fans were disgruntled following today's loss. Some fans think owner Robert Kraft messed up by getting rid of Bill Belichick last season.

Others weren't too confident when the Patriots first named Mayo the team's head coach. Fans also pointed out that they're confident in their rookie quarterback, Drake Maye.

Here's how other fans reacted:

"jerod mayo is so f**king awful he’s in way over his head #Patriots," a fan wrote.
"Drake maye is very good quarterback The rest of the team is a dumpster fire Ownership is a dumpster fire Jerod Mayo is a dumpster fire," one fan said.
"How did Jerod Mayo even get hired as a HC following the legend Bill Belichick? Maybe Kraft wasout to lunch since he didn’t have to search for a HC for decades. Mayo is a circus clown so unqualified. He will be 1 and done!! #JerodMayo #NewEnglandPatriots," a fan wrote.

Jerod Mayo says his team is "soft" following their 32-16 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars

Following the New England Patriots 32-16 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Jerod Mayo called his team out, saying that they are "soft" and are unable to run the ball or stop the run. He also said the team isn't playing well, covering returns on special teams.

Mayo said:

"Disappointing game, we came out, we started fast, but what I would say is look, we're a soft football team across the board.
"You talk about what makes a tough football team, that's being able to run the ball, being able to stop the run, that's being able to cover kicks, and we did none of those today."

The Patriots will host the New York Jets next Sunday at 1:00 p.m ET. The Jets are 2-4 and will play against the Pittsburgh Steelers tonight.

The Patriots are currently last in the AFC East and have one of the worst records at 1-6. Do you think the Patriots can tack on a few more wins this season?
