NFL fans buzz as Bill Belichick and Peyton Manning team up for new ESPN show - "The collab of the CENTURY"

Bill Belichick and Peyton Manning are widely recognized as two of the greatest minds in the history of the sport, and NFL fans will get a glimpse of what it looks like when they join forces to discuss football on a new ESPN show.

Every Friday throughout the season, Belichick and Manning will preview the following week's Monday Night Football contest in a 30-minute show, including film room and schematic breakdowns for both teams, as well as game-planning and how to explore each team's tendencies.

But that's not the only other thing that has got NFL fans excited. The legendary head coach will also appear in the first half of every "Manningcast" broadcast during the 2024 season. This means that the coach will be speaking with Eli Manning regularly, the same quarterback who defeated him in multiple Super Bowls.

NFL fans were extremely excited to learn about the news, calling this the "collab of the century."

"This is awesome! Love how Belichick is giving his insight," said one fan.

"This is going to be awesome, get an inside look at two all-time great football minds," said another.

"Bill never thought he would be doing TV appearances with retired Colt players," joked one fan.

The pair always had a respectful relationship and enjoyed the battles against each other. In Manning's penultimate career game, as his team defeated the Patriots, he made it clear that it was a pleasure to battle the head coach for so many years.

Why did Bill Belichick leave the Patriots?

Belichick's departure came after a string of turbulent seasons under the historic coach. After Brady's departure in 2020, the Patriots only made one playoff appearance out of four opportunities.

The lack of offensive production weighed heavily in the last two years, especially with the strong regression of Mac Jones and the controversies surrounding the coaching staff. The relationship between Robert Kraft and Belichick, once excellent, was also the subject of controversy in recent years.

Belichick looked for opportunities to be a head coach in 2024 with the Atlanta Falcons, but things didn't work out in the end.
