NFL fans call time of death on Aaron Rodgers and Packers' season after loss vs. Titans on TNF

Tennessee Titans v Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay Packers are having a terrible NFL season

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers could not keep the momentum going after last week's win over the Dallas Cowboys. Green Bay slumped to a 27-17 loss at Lambeau Field to the Tennessee Titans.

After the effort last week, some had the feeling that maybe the Packers were showing signs of life. But against the Titans, it was the same old as Ryan Tannehill and co. rode into Lambeau and did a number on the Packers.

NFL fans were quick to give their thoughts on Green Bay's latest loss, with one fan tweeting that the season is now over and Rodgers should be benched.

The Green Bay Packers' season is just about over. With the loss to Tennessee, Green Bay dropped to 4-7 on the season with any hope for a playoff berth surely long gone.

Looking at the current run of form, not many would be willing to put money on Green Bay to make anything for the rest of the season after Tennessee came into Lambeau and got a vital win, something Dallas couldn't manage last week.

Rodgers completed 24 of his 39 passes for 227 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Aaron Jones (12 carries, 40 yards) was a shell of himself that ran all over the Cowboys.

Wide receiver Christian Watson again showed out, catching four passes for 48 yards and two touchdowns to go with his three from last week. Veteran receiver Randall Cobb (6 rec, 78 yards) was Green Bay's best on what was a poor night.

For the Titans, Tannehill did what he needed to, completing 22 of his 27 passes for 333 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Running back Derek Henry rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries while surprisingly throwing for a touchdown as well.

Receiver Treylon Burks (7 rec, 111 yards) was one of Tennessee’s best on a great night in Wisconsin.

The loss just about ends Green Bay's season with many now wanting Aaron Rodgers to ride the bench for the remaining six games.
