The Dallas Cowboys have lost yet again, this time a 30-24 defeat against the San Francisco 49ers. Trevon Diggs was definitely in no mood to discuss it in the locker room, as shown when he confronted a reporter who had made a tweet about his play and said:

“You don’t know football. You can’t do nothing that I do.”

When the reporter attempted to press the issue further, he came back:

“TALK ABOUT DEEZ NUTS.”

There was much anger and mockery towards his antics.

More of the sentiment can be seen below:

"Diggs is part of the problem," one groaned.
"Why is a trashcan talking?" another queried.
"What a loser," another jeered.

Diggs had five tackles in the loss, all but one solo. His fellow cornerback Amani Oruwariye led the Cowboys with eight (six solo).

However, they could not consistently stop George Kittle, who ran for 128 yards and a touchdown on only six catches on National Tight Ends Day.

Cris Collinsworth shares his thoughts on Cowboys’ last drive vs. 49ers

That loss was sealed when Dak Prescott failed to complete a game-winning drive with 3:32 to play.

On the first down, he was nearly intercepted by linebacker Fred Warner. Later, on the second down, he was pressured into throwing away the ball by defensive tackle Maliek Collins.

In between plays, NBC analyst Cris Collinsworth told his commentary partner Mike Tirico:

"Dak just doesn't move like he used to. He really doesn't. There have been times we've seen him, pre-injury, that he was able to take that ball and make some runs out of it. That's not really a factor in his game anymore."

On the next down, Prescott failed to find KaVontae Turpin. Then he misfired to sophomore Jalen Brooks to cause the turnover.

He would finish with 25 of 38 attempts completed for 243 yards and two touchdowns to CeeDee Lamb, but also two interceptions.

Brock Purdy, meanwhile, was more efficient, completing 18 of 26 attempts for 260 yards and the aforementioned touchdown to George Kittle. He also rushed eight times for 56 yards and a touchdown.
