NFL fans called out Tyrique Stevenson after the Bears defender celebrated an interception by mocking the Vikings' iconic SKOL chant. The season has gone in different directions for Minnesota and Chicago, with the former already assured of a playoff spot and fighting for the top spot in the NFC, while the only ladder the latter are climbing is that on the 2025 Draft board.
That continued in this game as well and the Vikings were already leading 10-0 in the second quarter. It was at this time that Kevin O'Connell decided to go for it on a fourth down and Sam Darnold ended up throwing a pass that Tyrique Stevenson intercepted. It was a rare bright spot for the Bears and the defender celebrated by trying to rile up the home team's supporters by mocking the SKOL chant.
Given their respective positions in the league and that Chicago was trailing in this match too, fans did not think that it was a great look for Tyrique Stevenson. They also thought that making fun of the SKOL chant was a poor look that rarely ends well. They took to X/Twitter to air their views and some of those comments are given below.

The responses were universally suggesting that Tyrique Stevenson should dial it down a notch. Here are some more reactions.
"Probably not a good look given his team’s performance this year." - said one.
"He’s not good enough to be doing this" - added another.
"I swear he’s trying to lose" - wrote a third.
Tyrique Stevenson's previous attempt at taunting fans did not end well
Tyrique Stevenson has a history of trying to call out opposing teams' fans and it has previously not always ended well. Most memorably, he was the player who was trying to rile up the Washington crowd when the Bears were playing the Commanders. The game had yet to end and the ball had been snapped and he still had his back turned to the play as he jostled with people in the bleachers.
It led to a Jayden Daniels' Hail Mary walk-off touchdown pass for the Commanders to triumph over the Bears. It also began a slide for the NFC North team that saw them go on a losing streak that is ongoing today. They were 4-2 at that time but seven straight defeats now has them with a 9-4 record and out of postseason contention. The Vikings, on the other hand, will definitely feature in the playoffs and are legitimated Super Bowl contenders.
