Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles secured their spot in the divisional round of the playoffs with a fairly comfortable 22-10 win over the Green Bay Packers at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.
The home team's defense dominated the visitors' offense, picking off the quarterback Jordan Love thrice and limiting the Packers to only one touchdown. Philadelphia now awaits the outcome of the remaining two wildcard games to find out who they'll face next week.
Hurts, playing in his first game since suffering a concussion in the Eagles' Week 16 loss to the Washington Commanders, did not have a notable outing as he went 13-of-21 for 131 yards and two touchdowns.

Dov Kleiman on X asked fans on social media to rate Hurts' performance, and they weren't too impressed. Some claimed he was fortunate to be playing on one of the most stacked rosters in the league:
"The eagles win that game 22-10 with literally every active QB in the league he makes no difference when the eagles step on the field. They could pull Greg from section 305 to play QB and they’d win," one fan said.
Another fan gave Hurts a subpar rating for his performance against the Packers.
"3. Carried by a super team"
Some fans claimed that the quarterback will have to play much better through the rest of the playoffs for the Eagles to win the Super Bowl:
"Not very impressed with the Eagles. Jalen Hurts looked very shaky. They won't make it to the Super Bowl playing like that." - Opined @joshgitt1214
"The only thing that will stop the Eagles from winning the Super Bowl is Jalen Hurts." - Believes @EvanBerkowitz2
"If the Eagles don't win the Super Bowl it's all on Hurts. That team is loaded and he's holding them back still." - Claimed @BMill_29
Jalen Hurts stats vs. Packers: Wasn't the return the QB envisioned
Jalen Hurts completed 13 of his 21 pass attempts for 131 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 36 yards on six carries in the Eagles' 22-10 win over the Packers.
His first touchdown pass was spectacular. He patiently hung around in the pocket and waited for one of his teammates to get open. When he saw the opening, he threw a rope to wide receiver Jahan Dotson to open the scoring.
As composed as his first touchdown was, the second was quite the opposite. Hurts almost threw an incompletion to a wide-open Dallas Goedert in the flat but the tight end adjusted to catch the pass before stiff-arming his way into the endzone.
The Eagles did not need their quarterback to be spectacular against the Packers to guide them to victory. However, the probability of the team winning without him playing well will drop significantly the deeper they venture into the playoffs.
It remains to be seen whether he bounces back in the divisional round or whether his teammates have to continue carrying the load.
