Fans were treated to Beyoncé during the halftime break between the Ravens and Texans in Week 17 of the 2024 NFL season on Christmas Day. The two AFC playoff entrants were facing off against each other in the evening game and the legendary singer was there to keep viewers entertained during the break.
She ran through her hits and brought out other entertainers like Shaboozey and Post Malone for her performance. It was a presentation designed to draw attention and some liked it but not everyone did.
Fans took to X/Twitter to air their views on Beyoncé's halftime performance and the reactions were divided. Some called it amazing whereas others said that it was not good at all. Here are a couple of comments showing the social media divide on this topic.

Those varied reactions were a constant feature but there was no doubt that she got people watching. Here are some more posts from the platform.
"Beyoncé worst performance all time. That was terrible" - wrote one.
"Loving all this Beyonce love bc that was truly amazing!" - disagreed a second.
"Seriously, it sounds like she is singing from a box with a cheesecloth filter. I love Beyonce, but something is off in the broadcast." - rationalized a third.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson shreds Texans after admitting love for Beyoncé
Before the game Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson had said that he wanted to watch Beyoncé's halftime show instead of attending head coach John Harbaugh's halftime talk.
"I'm going to go out there and watch... sorry, Harbaugh" - he had said.
He did not do that but he might as well have. The Ravens dominated the Texans in the first half and Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry made hay. By the third quarter, the Baltimore quarterback had surpassed Michael Vick with the most rushing yards from that position. His stat line at that time for the game read two touchdown passes, one rushing score, 87 yards on the ground, 166 yards through the air, no interceptions, and a passer rating of 144.6.
The Baltimore defense was also exceptional as they stopped Houston's offense from scoring in the first half. They also intercepted C.J. Stroud once in the first period and the home team's only points during that time came from a safety by Kamari Lassiter on Derrick Henry.
Fans might have been divided on whether Beyoncé's performance was good or not but there was no doubt that the visiting team was approaching greatness against a very poor Texans team in the first half.
