Could former National Football League head coach Jon Gruden be making a return to coaching? Gruden was forced to resign during the 2021 season when he was in his second stint with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Gruden, who coached in the NFL from 1998-2008, took a break from coaching for 10 years and served as an NFL analyst. Gruden returned to the NFL as a head coach with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2018 but only lasted until 2021. Gruden resigned after it was publicly revealed that he wrote and sent racist, misogynistic and homophobic emails between 2011 and 2018.
Over the weekend, Gruden was spotted working with Andy Reid and the team at a Kansas City Chiefs practice. Fans had mixed reactions to seeing the former AFC West coach in the red and white Chiefs colors.
