Baltimore Ravens linebacker Kyle Van Noy has been in the NFL since 2014 but did not earn his first Pro Bowl appearance until the 2024-2025 season.

This morning, the Ravens announced that Van Noy will replace Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker and edge rusher T.J. Watt, who is sidelined with an injury.

Van Noy had a very productive season for how late he is into his career. He set a career-high in sacks with 12.5, had two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and 41 total tackles.

Upon being named a Pro Bowler, fans on Twitter had split reactions. While some fans thought Van Noy deserved to be a Pro Bowler even before Watt was replaced, a faction said that the Ravens linebacker deserved more being in the Pro Bowl over the Steelers LB in the first place.

Here's how fans reacted:

"Should have made it in the first place," another fan said.
"Should have been there over Watt in the first place. Watt had a down year and got cooked by a Rookie right tackle for 120 minutes," a fan said.
"Should’ve been a pro bowler anyway," another fan said.

While some fans backed Van Noy and supported his making the Pro Bowl, others pointed out that the Baltimore Ravens have many Pro Bowlers but nothing to show for them.

Players like Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Kyle Van Noy, etc., were named Pro Bowlers but failed to reach the AFC Championship. Fans pointed this out as many Ravens (with Van Noy) were named to this year's Pro Bowl.

Here's how other fans reacted:

"Ravens gotta have the record for most pro bowl players on a roster and not making a conference championship," a fan said.
"IM SORRY??? KYLE VAN NOY IS A PRO BOWLER NOW??? WTF IS THIS BULLSH**," a fan replied.
"10 Pro Bowlers out of the playoffs already smh," a fan said.

Some Pro Bowl alternates, such as Kyle Van Noy, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr., and Houston Texans edge rusher Danielle Hunter, were announced Thursday morning.

Still, some players who deserve to be in the Pro Bowl are snubbed every year. Here's a look at some of the biggest Pro Bowl snubs this year:

Baker Mayfield: Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield threw for 4,500 yards and 41 touchdowns this season. He did so with Chris Godwin missing much of the year and with Mike Evans being sidelined for four games.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba finished this season 12th in receiving yards (1,310) and was 10th in receptions (100)

Christian Benford: Buffalo Bills cornerback Christian Benford is an ascending cornerback in year three. He registered 50 solo tackles and 14 assists in 15 games.
