Memphis Depay has channeled his inner Antonio Brown at the World Cup in Qatar. Playing in the Round of 16 against the USA, Depay put the Netherlands ahead inside 10 minutes, much to the displeasure of USA fans.
While falling behind is certainly not pleasant, the celebration by Depay has angered USA fans. The Netherlands ended up winning rather convincingly to the tune of 3-1, but Depay's Antonio Brown celebration is still front of mind.
One USA fan took to Twitter and was in disbelief that Depay celebrated the way he did.

"Did he just “put that s**t on” against us????"
Another USA fan took it a step further and in a joking manner, said that "we can't take that" after seeing the celebration.
"Nah bro we gotta start a war after this we can’t just take that."
More angry NFL fans gave their thoughts on Depay's celebration, with many not impressed.
It appears that many fans are in agreement that Depay's celebration was something else. While it went by some fans, there was plenty that knew it looked familiar.
Antonio Brown still out of the NFL
Antonio Brown hasn't been seen in the NFL since his infamous outburst against the New York Jets last season. The 34-year-old took off his jersey, gloves and helmet, tossed them onto the sideline bench and jogged off the field. All while the game was still going on.
That for many was the last straw for the receiver and it is now highly unlikely that any team will take a chance on him again. Since Tom Brady, the one player who campaigned twice to get the receiver on his team, has been dealing with his divorce, Brown has taken shots at him.
Obviously it was through his social media and it is a sad way for his career to end. Once the best receiver in the NFL by some distance before moving on from the Pittsburgh Steelers, his career has gone downhill (2020 Super Bowl aside).
Now with Depay's celebration, the 34-year-old is yet again in the media headlines and not necessarily for the right reasons.
