"Get this man out of Miami!" a fan wrote.
"Emotional & passionate about the game, but if this is true, it’s not a good look," a fan added.
Some Dolphins fans called for the team to move on from Hill after he pulled himself from the game.
"to be totally honest, Hill should be black balled from the league. i understand that players get taken advantage of, but not guys at his level. There are 100s of WR's on practice squads that would go full speed 100% while down 50 points in a real game. If any of them quit they'd be cut immediately. a guy like Hill quitting is irredeemable," a fan added.
"Keep him far away from my team," a fan wrote.
Fans weren't happy with Hill's decision, however, some defended him for playing injured all season.
"Didn’t @cheetah play all season hurt for this bum ass team I ain’t trying to hear it now," a fan wrote.
Hill ended up finishing the game with two catches for 20 yards as he was targeted just three times. The star receiver finished the year recording 81 receptions for 959 yards and six touchdowns. It's the first time he didn't get 1000+ receiving yards since 2019.
Tyreek Hill requests a trade from the Dolphins
After Tyreek Hill pulled himself from the Dolphins' Week 18 loss to the New York Jets, the star receiver requested a trade.
Immediately after the game, Hill spoke to the media and said that he wanted out of Miami.
"This is my first time I haven't been in the playoffs," Hill told reporters, via NFL.com. "I just gotta do what's best for me and my family. If that's here or wherever the case may be, I'm finna open that door for myself.
"I'm opening the door. I'm out, bro. It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, bro, I got to do what's best for my career. I'm too much of a competitor to be just out there."
The Dolphins acquired Hill from the Chiefs in 2022. It seems all but certain that his time with the team has come to a premature end.
