JK Dobbins was a significant contributor to the Los Angeles Chargers' playoff return in the 2024 season, carrying the ball 195 times for 905 yards with nine touchdowns and catching it 32 times for an additional 153 yards, the first time he hit at least a thousand scrimmage yards.
Dobbins appeared on Thursday's episode of Up & Adams with Kay Adams as he was seemingly campaigning for Jim Harbaugh and Joe Hortiz to retain him. The ex-Baltimore Ravens running back could not help but smile throughout the segment, attracting a reaction from safety and teammate Tony Jefferson.
"Bro why are you cheesing so hard lmao tf @Jkdobbins22," he wrote on X.

JK Dobbins wants to play with Aaron Rodgers
Throughout his career, JK Dobbins has known only three quarterbacks: Lamar Jackson, Tyler Huntley, and Justin Herbert. All of them have been Pro Bowlers, but there is another with whom he wants to be a teammate before it is too late, Aaron Rodgers.
"Yeah, I would play with Aaron, for sure. That was one of the conversations we were having during rehab," he said during the interview with Kay Adams. "He was like 'You should come play with me.' I was like, 'Aaron, I would love to play with you. I would love to be on your team and be right alongside you.'"
He also revealed that he had told the multiple-time MVP he wanted to be named the Comeback Player of the Year over him.
"I told his b**t - 'Hey, I'm gonna come back and I'm actually gonna beat you for Comeback Player of the Year' ... I beat him to the rehab facility everyday."
Dobbins is one of five nominees for that award for posting the aforementioned career-bests after languishing with injuries in his first four years in the league. The other nominees are quarterbacks Joe Burrow and Sam Darnold and defensive backs Christian Gonzalez and Damar Hamlin.
