Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens were on a bye in Week 14, but that did not stop the quarterback from making headlines. The reigning MVP promoted his new unisex perfume, Night Lights Cologne, in his time off.
Jackson revealed the inspiration behind it in an interview with GQ Magazine. He said:
"People may not know this about me, but I prefer girl perfume. Something real soft. That's what made me want to create something unisex, you know? Instead of all about us men."

The Ravens superstar's intriguing comment about liking female perfumes prompted fans to poke fun at him:
"Some things are better left unsaid, Lamar."
While some found Jackson's preference peculiar, several fans agreed that perfumes made for women are better:
"Bro is spittin. Alot of the best smelling citrus or vanilla scents are made for women. Hard to find subtle and light scents for men that aren't too heavy or overpowering." - Claimed @imari55
"This isn't a surprise. I luv it. Alot of secure men prefer women's, deodorant, lotion, face products. So this makes sense." - Opined @adeyadeola
"My favorite scent right now is Baccarat and it leans more on the feminine side even tho its unisex. I don’t give a damn that s**t is fire!" - Admitted @Suprprid3
Lamar Jackson excited to return to action
Lamar Jackson is gearing up for the Ravens' Week 15 clash against the New York Giants. The quarterback has been itching to get back on the field since Baltimore's 24-19 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13.
During his media availability on Wednesday, the reigning MVP claimed he's losing his patience and is eager to get the Ravens' season back on track. He also promised that he'll re-enter the race for the MVP award. He said:
"I'm still fired up. Nothing's changed. I'm antsy right now. I'm hyped... I'm going to try to play [at an] MVP level every game I'm in; it really doesn't matter. I just have to focus on one game at a time, and just me being who I am."
The Ravens are 8-5 and need a strong finish to the season to avoid facing a rough run in the playoffs. It remains to be seen whether Jackson and Co. will be able to bounce back on Sunday against the Giants.
