Jayden Daniels is making a strong case for the 'Rookie of the Year' award. During the New Orleans Saints game on Sunday, after the ball was snapped, Saints defenders were onto him and he started scrambling to escape them.
He dropped the ball but immediately picked it up and sent it flying towards Terry McLaurin, who caught it despite being guarded by Saints defenders in the end zone.
Fans were impressed with the throw and took to X to express their amazement at the seemingly impossible throw. One fan said that Jayden Daniels stood out from other QBs.
"This dude is so different"

"All skill on Daniels' part, perfect throw into double coverage after fumbling the ball."
Other fans also chimed in with their reactions to the throw.
"What a play. Best QB in the draft!" one fan said.
"ROOKIE OF THE YEAR," another fan commented.
"Wow what a play! Totally backyard style. Keep on grinding! TD!" one fan rejoiced.
"ROTY ALL DAY ALL NIGHT ANY TIME ANYWHERE," another fan wrote.
Jayden Daniels shows his concern for former teammate
For his pregame outfit ahead of the clash against the Dallas Cowboys, Jayden Daniels used his wardrobe to turn the spotlight on something close to his heart. He wore a T-shirt with graphics of Greg Brooks Jr. in his LSU uniform with the words, "For Brooks" and "Love You" printed on it.
Greg Brooks has been suffering from a rare type of brain cancer called Medulloblastoma since last year. After his treatment, the coach had some positive words to say about him.
“We haven’t gotten much information over the last month because of where he is,” Kelly said, as reported by On3. “We know he’s in intensive daily rehabilitation. He’s up, walking, doing all those things. Doing all of the occupational rehabilitation. It’s just a slow process. But everything is coming back. It’s just a slow, slow process.”
The Commanders are currently second in their division with an 8-5 score. Although they started the year strong, with fans touting Daniels as their savior, things slowed down when he sustained a rib injury.
Now, it's been more than a month since he's recovered. Can he lead the Commanders to the playoffs, their first since 2020?
