JJ Watt may be retired from football, but that does not mean he is no longer keeping himself in peak physical shape.
The highly-accomplished former defensive end likes to share posts about his workouts on his X.com account. He did so again on Monday, displaying his still-strongly built body:

JJ Watt-Texans reunion rumors persist
The Houston Texans' JJ Watt era is, as of now, its most successful yet, seeing multiple playoff appearances and runs to the Divisional Round. However, the current era under CJ Stroud looks to be even more promising, especially on the offense.
On the other side of the ball, Danielle Hunter has joined forces with Will Anderson Jr. to form a formidable DE duo. However, if head coach DeMeco Ryans is to be asked, there is still room for another.
In May, he told Rich Eisen:
“Come on JJ, you ready, let’s go... He did say that, he said it last year, he said it again this year. I’ve got to make sure I take him up on that offer this year.”
However, he further explained that his former teammate of one season would only be a backup:
“It is, only if we have to use it. We’ll see what he has left, but JJ is a big time player, would love to add him to what we’re doing here.”
Meanwhile, general manager Nick Caserio told Up & Adams later that month:
"We'll see. I think JJ's got a lot going right now. But once the season starts, that's when the competitive uses get going. So DeMeco has an open door policy."
One thing may stop that from happening, though. Watt is one of the co-hosts of CBS's pre-game show, The NFL Today, working alongside James Brown, Nate Burleson and Bill Cowher.
For the 2024 season, former MVP quarterback Matt Ryan will join the crew, replacing longtime network stalwarts Phil Simms and Boomer Esiason.
Watts had officially retired a week before being hired full-time, having served in a part-time role while he was in free agency. This commitment may stop him from reconsidering his retirement.
