Much of the story this off-season has been about the intrigue of where Odell Beckham Jr. will land. As it turns out, he might first need to take off successfully. That is something the Super Bowl-winning wide receiver failed to do on Sunday when he caused an issue in Miami.
Beckham Jr. was on a plane to Los Angeles, and he was why passengers on the flight had to deplane, causing major inconvenience.
Through his attorney, Odell Beckham Jr. claimed that he had fallen asleep without putting his seatbelt on. By the time he had woken up, the plane was back at the gate. Instead of allowing him to fasten his belt and proceed ahead with the flight, he blames the flight attendant for being "overzealous."

However, NFL fans did not buy this story and were quick to respond. They highlighted that such an incident would mean a loss of revenue for the company and a loss of pay for the attendant. Here are some of the best responses.
Whether the fans are right to be skeptical will be determined later when all the facts come out. But based on what the police are reporting, OBJ seemed to be drifting in and out of consciousness, and the flight attendants could not take a chance on a long flight.
They also said that he refused to exit the aircraft, forcing the entire aircraft to deplane. It is seemingly corroborated by an alleged passenger in a tweet replying to the player characterizing this incident as comedy.
Was Odell Beckham Jr. headed to a Los Angeles Rams reunion when the incident happened?
Odell Beckham Jr.'s presence in Miami sparked speculation about whether he wanted to become a Dolphin. Miami are hot in the AFC right now, with Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill busting open defenses, and OBJ joining them might just make them the best.
This is not dissimilar to last year when he joined Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp in having a historically productive season, adding an edge that saw them win the Super Bowl.
Speaking of the Los Angeles Rams, as per the statement from Odell Beckham Jr.'s lawyer, his baggage was sent to Los Angeles without him. That might mean that a reunion there is also possible. He knows the coaching staff and the playbook, and the Rams desperately need a receiver with Cooper Kupp injured.
Potential suitors are not expected to be in short supply for OBJ's services. The biggest challenge for him might just remain to reach the destination peacefully.
