Aaron Rodgers is in his second season with the New York Jets, and he's looking for a big year in 2024 after missing all but the first drive of the Jets season last year. Rodgers and the Jets have begun practicing at training camp.
On Saturday, a video of Rodgers and Jets wide recevier Garrett Wilson went viral. In the video, the two looked to exchange words, going back-and-forth with one another. The video ended with the two shaking hands.
NFL fans reacted to the video, some with concern and while others didn't give much thought to the exchange between Rodgers and Wilson.

"Maybe A-Rod was calling him out for being late on a route- -and Garret was like, I know you aren’t tryin to get on me about being late, mr. -I can’t come to mandatory practices, I’m in Egypt!" one fan said.
"I'm assumiing Wilson is thinking he knows best and not listening to his QB with many many more years of experience," one fan said.
While it's tough to interpret what was said in the exchange between Rodgers and Wilson, some fans don't think it's anything to be concerned about. Some thought it was just a regular football exchange between two competitive teammates. Others pointed out that the two shook hands at the end of the video, showing it wsn't a big deal.
Here's how other fans reacted:
"Just a regular sports Convo, not an arguement," one fan said.
"That was not arguing that is two competing dudes being dudes," one fan said.
"They agreed to disagree at the end that is what matters," one fan said.
Aaron Rodgers congratulates his former teammate on becoming the highest-paid player in the NFL
The Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers' former team, selected his eventual replacement in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft when they selected Jordan Love.
On Friday, Love became the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL in terms of AAV. Love and the Packers agreed on a four-year $220 million contract extension, paying him $55 million per season.
Upon Love signing his new deal, Aaron Rodgers congratulated his former teammate and joked that he should buy his house in Green Bay.
Rodgers said, via USA Today:
“I want to give a shoutout to Jordan Love becoming the highest paid player in the NFL. J-Love, don’t spend it all in one place. But if you do, I still have a house in Green Bay up for sale.”
Rodgers will be entering the 20th season of his NFL career and the second with the New York Jets. After finishing 7-10 and in third place in the AFC East division last season, Rodgers is looking to get his team to the playoffs to make a Super Bowl run this postseason.
