Dak Prescott continues to be polarizing as the 2024-25 NFL season looms. On Wednesday, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback was revealed to be the 16th-ranked player on the NFL's Top 100 for 2024 list:

The fan reaction to Dak's ranking was mostly negative:

"Way too high 🤣," one fan quipped.

More fans panned Prescott's ranking as they wondered why he was above other QBs.

"How is (Jalen) Hurts over him?" one asked, as the Eagles QB was ranked one spot lower at 15.
"16 for a 1st round exit," another ridiculed him.
"Above CJ Stroud? Wow," another disagreed, as the Texans QB was No. 20.

Three of Prescott's fellow Dallas Cowboys joined him in the 11-20 range: linebacker Micah Parsons (No. 17) and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (No. 13). The team is also represented by cornerback DaRon Bland (No. 31) and guard Zack Martin (No. 53).

Dak Prescott impresses with nine touchdowns against one interception in Wednesday practice

Dak Prescott had an impressive performance during the Cowboys' Wednesday practice.

Mike Leslie, a reporter for ABC's Dallas-Fort Worth affiliate WFAA, reported on Wednesday that the three-time Pro Bowler threw nine touchdowns during camp: five in 7-on-7 practice scrums, then four in full-team -- all against one interception, just his fourth of camp.

Jalen Tolbert caught three such scores, while Brandin Cooks had two. KaVontae Turpin, Jalen Brooks, David Durden, and tight end Luke Schoonmaker had one each.

Site writer Nick Harris remarked:

"The confidence (Prescott)'s building with other receivers in CeeDee Lamb's absence has been huge for the offensive unit."

That is a remarkable improvement from Tuesday, when Prescott went just 11 of 19 (58%) on his passes during the team's first padded practice, including an incompletion to a wide-open Turpin. And it should only bolster his chances of securing a contract extension.
