Davante Adams has been the subject of trade rumors linking him to various teams, including the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers. But if the latest reports are to be believed, he may remain a Las Vegas Raider as the deadline approaches.
ESPN's Adam Schefter broke the development on Saturday:
And it elicited a bevy of reactions from fans:

"Translation: trade value is a*s," one fan surmised.
"What else is new," added another fan.
"Oh how the turn tables - Michael Scott," said one fan, referencing a popular quote from the TV show, "The Office."
More reactions can be seen below:
"The Raiders are a wildly unserious organization," one groaned.
"Trade him to the Browns already," another begged.
"I don't think he'll end the year with the Raiders," another digressed.
Adams, who has been a vocal supporter of sophomore quarterback Aidan O'Connell, will miss his third straight game on Sunday against the Steelers. He has not played since Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers.
Jason Fitz shares insights on what Raiders can receive from trading away Davante Adams
The Las Vegas Review Journal's Vinny Bonsignore, meanwhile, believes a parting of ways between Davante Adams and the Raiders is inevitable, as he stated on Raider Nation Radio’s The Morning Tailgate podcast. His fellow guest, Yahoo’s Jason Fitz, meanwhile, opined on what the compensation would look like.
“I’ve been told multiple times this year that the Raiders are asking for a second (round pick) and that some of the offers that are coming in, I cannot say this loud enough, have been in the range of a fourth.”
Such compensation is surprisingly low. Adams himself was a second-round pick, but he has played like a first-rounder throughout his career.
His resume - three All-Pros, six Pro Bowls, four NFCCG appearances, and two receiving touchdown titles (one of them with the Raiders despite their quarterback struggles) - shall have increased his trade value in another world. But he is also 31 years old, which may have played a role in the fall of his stock
Teams will have until 4 pm ET on November 5 to propose and finalize any transaction involving him.
