The NFL will be getting into the holiday spirit as there will be three games played on Christmas Day. These games will include four playoff teams from the 2021-2022 season. The teams include the Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
When the games were announced ahead of this season, there was plenty of excitement. Fans have now soured on the slate, given several of the team's current records.
These fans took to Twitter to share their dismay over the underwhelming slate of games over the holiday. Some argue that they must now spend time with their families and that football doesn't belong on the holiday:

A few other fans doubled down to say they would watch the NBA on Christmas Day, not the NFL:
Out of the six teams that will play on Christmas Day in Week 16, only one currently has a record above .500. That team is the Miami Dolphins. However, there are still some intriguing storylines throughout the three games.
What are the storylines for the NFL's tripleheader on Christmas Day?
In the first Christmas Day NFL matchup, the Dolphins will host the Green Bay Packers in Miami. The Dolphins look primed to make the postseason while the Packers look to make a run at qualifying. Tua Tagovailoa has been a major reason for the success of the Dolphins this season. Aaron Rodgers hasn't played like a reigning MVP this season, which has damaged the Packers' playoff chances.
Next, defending Super Bowl champions the Los Angeles Rams face Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos. When the game came out in April, fans expected to see Wilson versus Matthew Stafford. Now, they'll see the Broncos star face another first overall pick in Baker Mayfield. Both teams have losing records, something that no one predicted before the start of the season.
Finally, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals. Brady hopes to play at the State Farm Stadium in the postseason too, as it will be the home of Super Bowl 57 this season.
We'll see if fans will take time away from their loved ones for this tripleheader of NFL games this season. While the records might not be glittering, these are some desperate games and should be well worth tuning in for.
