NFL fans react to Lamar Jackson's height difference with Victor Wembanyama in viral picture: "This is insane!"

Lamar Jackson and Victor Wembanyama are superstars in their respective sports, but while they're known for their athleticism, there's a huge height difference between the Baltimore Ravens quarterback and the San Antonio Spurs center, who were pictured together in an event.

Lamar, a first-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft and a two-time MVP, looks way smaller than Wembanyama, the first overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. Of course, the demands for each sport are totally different, but it's still awesome to see how two superstars can be totally different:

NFL fans were shocked to see such a height difference, especially since Lamar isn't a short guy by NFL standards, but when compared to the French legend, he looked like a kid:

"That guy on the left is pretty tall he should consider playing basketball", another fan joked about the situation.

What's Lamar Jackson earning currently?

Lamar and the Baltimore Ravens agreed on a contract extension right before the 2023 draft with the player signing a five-year, $260 million contract, with $185 million guaranteed.

He wanted his contract to be fully guaranteed, but teams in 2023 were unwilling to do so. Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti was critical of Deshaun Watson's contract, which was fully guaranteed at signing, due to what that may cause other teams to do.

Jackson, who does not have an agent, negotiated the contract himself with the franchise. Many NFL teams decide to lock up their star quarterbacks as soon as possible, but the Ravens waited longer than usual to extend Lamar. Still, when he finally put pen to paper, the numbers were huge.

After a 2023 season where he was named the MVP for the second time in his career, expectations are high entering 2024. The Ravens fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship, and the quarterback surely will want to prove that he can beat Patrick Mahomes in a playoff game.
