Jameson Williams went for a brilliant touchdown run off a Lions trick play called by Ben Johnson to reduce Commanders' lead to 24-21 in the first half. It was a play worthy of a great celebration since starting quarterback Jared Goff was in the tent getting checked for a concussion and backup Teddy Bridgewater was in instead. That Detroit managed to pull it off was stunning and the wide receiver was pumped to have made it into the endzone.
Jameson Williams decided to celebrate with what can only be called not suitable for work viewing. Fans could not help but point out that there might be a fine coming from the NFL because of how he expressed his delight. They took to X/Twitter to outline their views and here are some of the reactions.

Hilarity was the overwhelming sentiment in the comments. However, some were not less than amused. Here are some more posts from the social media platform.
"hahahah they was looking out for him," said one.
"A grown man? A professional?.. Kids in the stands and millions watching on TV and this is a NFL man's behavior?," questioned another.
"Jamo was doing push-ups! I see nothing wrong here," added a third.
Jameson Williams' joy turns to despair in second half as Lions' trick play fails
They say that those who live by the sword die by it too. The Lions love running trick plays and they work most of the time, just as it did with the Jameson Williams touchdown. But with the score 38-28 in the fourth quarter, disaster struck after Ben Johnson pulled out another design from his hat, but the wide receiver could not execute.
Jameson Williams got the ball in the offensive backfield and instead of sweeping or picking up some yards, he threw the ball. The Commanders' defense was ready for it, though, and intercepted him. It was Washington's fourth takeaway of the game and it gave them the ball back with a 10-point lead.
The top-seeded Detroit was not supposed to struggle as much against the sixth-seeded NFC East team. But the wide receiver's pick was emblematic of a team that was playing with suitable chutzpah and struggling to do the basics right. His touchdown money divided opinion but there was no doubt about the disappointment coursing through the stadium as he was intercepted.
