The Las Vegas Raiders have not given their fans much to cheer for the last few seasons. Their patience in the team's most recent rebuild is being rewarded, as season ticket holders received a unique gift.
As training camp kicks off and the 2024 NFL season inches closer, Raiders season ticket holders received a treasure chest in the mail. When fans opened up the treasure chest, it included a glow in the dark map of Las Vegas' schedule. A video of the treasure chest quickly went viral on X.
Fans were quick to get their jabs in at the organization, with most agreeing that the season ticket holder gift was better than the team has been in years. One fan saying Las Vegas should invest more in the team as a whole than these gifts.

The responses on the post on X continued, as some joked that it was the best outcome fans of Las Vegas will receive all season.
"I’ve never been jealous of Raiders fans until now," one fan proclaimed.
"Give more effort to giving fans a great presentation with this than the product on the field," said another.
"That’ll be the best part of their season as fan watching a 6-11 team," stated one fan.
There were also fans of other NFL teams who were a bit jealous that their franchise hadn't stepped up with a gift for loyal season ticket holders. A fan of the Denver Broncos even went as far as to say that they didn't get a gift but did get higher ticket prices.
"As a season ticket holder for the Miami Dolphins I gotta say, I’m very, very jealous!"a Dolphins fan said.
"As a @Broncos season ticket holder, I'm jealous. All we get are ticket price increases and new ways for the new owners to monetize," a Denver Broncos fans declared.
"I got a 4 by 6 notecard from the @AtlantaFalcons Poverty franchise," said another.
Las Vegas Raiders are prohibited from promoting training camp location
The Las Vegas Raiders will kick off training camp in southern California this week. While the team would likely love support from their loyal fans who may be in the team's former home state, Las Vegas isn't permitted to promote their camp location.
Due to the location of the training camp being in the same market as the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, another team isn't allowed to promote their team. Paul Gutierrez explained how the NFL promotion and marketing rules pertain to the Raiders:
“Every club has an exclusive home territory extending 75 miles in all directions from the exterior corporate borders of the city for which it holds a franchise. If another club holds its preseason training camp within that exclusive territory then it cannot be marketed locally,” according to ESPN's Paul Gutierrez
Fans won't be permitted to attend any open practices and local media won't be allowed to cover the Raiders' training camp.
