The Buffalo Bills are set to face the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday's AFC Championship Game with two things in mind: revenge, and their first Super Bowl appearance since the days of Jim Kelly. But a certain omen has fans perturbed.
On Saturday, Joshua Bessex, photographer for The Buffalo News, spotted a row of fountains in Kansas City spewing out what appeared to be red water.
And fans began "panicking":

Marlon Humphrey has plea for Bills ehead of AFC Championship Game vs. Chiefs.
One prominent figure who is rooting for the Bills is Marlon Humphrey. Writing on his social media account a few days after his Baltimore Ravens lost in Orchard Park, the multiple-time All-Pro and Pro Bowl cornerback wrote:
“The Bills or whatever NFC team gotta beat the Chiefs. We can’t let them keep getting away with this.”
The Ravens also lost to the Chiefs in last year's AFC Championship Game. Then, with another date with the Chiefs on the line last week at the Bills, he watched the team blow a massive opportunity when tight end Mark Andrews dropped a game-tying two-pointer from Lamar Jackson.
After that loss, Humphrey, who will begin the non-guaranteed phase of the contract extension that he signed in the middle of the 2020 season, admitted that the days of contention might be on hold:
"I know this sounds kind of just not really a great answer, but there's only a select few people that know they're going to be here next year. There really [is not] a true message. This team is done. Obviously, there's a message to go, but when I look at it, some guys will be here, [and] some guys won't – who knows what."
He continued:
"You could be on this team. You could be on another team. Some guys will stay, some guys will leave, and I fall into that same bucket. So, the message is, 'We lost. Get over it,' and we'll kind of see where the offseason goes."
Kickoff for the AFC Championship Game is at 6:30 PM ET on CBS.
