The first half of Thursday night's game between the Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears was hard to watch for some. Both teams offensively struggled, combining for six punts covering a total of 293 yards. Both teams failed to score a touchdown, instead having to settle for field goals – two by the former's Jason Myers sandwiched by one from the latter's Cairo Santos.
"This was the game they chose for a finale?" a fan asked.
The struggles would continue into the second half with both sides exchanging punts on the first three drives of the third quarter. Late in that period, the Bears would force a fumble on Seahawks tight end Pharaoh Brown – only for Caleb Williams to eat a sack during the next drive, eventually causing another punt in the fourth quarter.
The misery went on even longer, as both sides continued to trade punts. The game ended when Tariq Woolen intercepted Williams on fourth down with 20 seconds left.
