Tom Brady made his long-awaited debut in the booth with the FOX Sports team, but it wasn't at an NFL game. Instead, he hopped up in the second quarter of the UFL Championship to call a couple of series for both teams playing, and the early impressions were good.
Brady has a 10-year, $375 million deal with the channel which is set to start in the 2024 season. He will become the lead analyst for the number one team for FOX, taking over from former NFL tight end Greg Olsen, who was relegated to number two.
The early reviews of Brady's performance in the booth were positive, with NFL fans impressed by how natural he seemed to be in his new role. Since he'll have a long-term deal, and is the most popular player of all time, there was a load of curiosity on how he'd fare, but the warm-up was good.

Brady's brief cameo got a couple of fans excited to see him call an actual NFL game.
"Ready to see Tom Brady in the booth this fall for Fox. [It] will be interesting to see how he handles play-by-play", said a fan.
"His analyst was pretty good so far. Can’t wait to see him at the Browns vs. Cowboys game.", another thought.
One fan, however, noticed the things that changed for FOX in 2024:
"Cool. But still feel bad for Olsen, though."
Tom Brady's FOX debut was preceded by his induction into the Patriots Hall of Fame
Tom Brady was officially introduced into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame on Wednesday, officially putting his career to bed and ending the most important chapter of his career. The quarterback won six rings over two decades with the franchise and became the greatest of all time playing for Robert Kraft.
Tom Brady was the 199th pick in the 2000 NFL Draft, and it's impossible to argue against the theory that had he been drafted by another team, none of this would've happened. His partnership with Bill Belichick made both of them better, and they had a huge amount of success as a result.
He's without a doubt the greatest NFL player of all time. He won seven rings throughout his career - six with the New England Patriots and another with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
