Tyreek Hill is hurting, and many fans do not like what it means for both him and the Miami Dolphins. Just before Monday's game at the Los Angeles Rams, the star wide receiver was announced to be questionable after a wrist injury kept him out for much of practice.
He eventually revealed to ESPN sideline reporter Lisa Salters that he had a torn ligament that he was planning to play through:
Naturally, fans went into fear-mongering mode over Tyreek Hill's injury diagnosis:

"The Dolphins gotta cancel the season at this point"
"Yikes!!!! Not good," another said.
"Damn," one fan simply said.
More of the worry can be seen below:
"How tf is he gonna be able to catch the ball?" one wondered.
"Ah sh*t not a good idea," another warned about Hill playing through the injury.
"He’s finished," another lamented.
Tyreek Hill speaks up on what may be his worst NFL season since debut
A potentially debilitating wrist injury that often needs surgery is just another indictment of the very bad 2024 season that Tyreek Hill is having. His main passer Tua Tagovailoa missed multiple games with a concussion, and Skylar Thompson and Tyler Huntley failed to recreate their chemistry.
His numbers so far reinforce that sad notion. He's only recorded 441 yards and a single touchdown on 34 catches, the lowest numbers since he made his debut primarily as a returner in 2016. Those are not exactly the type of stats that would put him on track for his previously stated goal of becoming the first 2,000-yard receiver in NFL history.
But more than anything, it is the Dolphins' performance that is eating away at him. Speaking to Marcel Louis-Jacques, the team's ESPN correspondent, Hill said:
"This process is hard, bro. Losing sucks. Everybody wants to think, 'Oh, it's time to make plays, it's time to go outside the scheme.' Nah man, we just got to stick together as a team and just trust the process."
It is a far cry from Tyreek Hill's optimism before preseason camp:
"The individual goal I've been talking about this whole entire offseason with my teammates and with my family is, I would want us to win a playoff game. Then moving forward, we're going to move to the Super Bowl. If I'm able to help this team do something special, I would definitely count that as an individual goal as my own.
"That'd be something that I could live with for the rest of my life."
The Dolphins-Rams game will kick off at 8:15 PM ET on ESPN/ABC.
