Aaron Rodgers was supposed to be the New York Jets' savior. Despite firing their coach Robert Saleh, and bringing on board his former teammate Davante Adams, the Jets lost their last outing against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a 37-15 blowout.

However, that was not the highlight of the game. A video of Rodgers, whom Pat McAfee called a "meme machine," went viral, showing him allegedly picking his nose. The video drew in comments from many NFL fans.

On the latest episode of the 'Pat McAfee Show', Aaron Rodgers finally got to defend himself against the accusations leveled against him.

"It's a tough look to try & defend because that video is a little incriminating. There needs to be a side view. I've actually never eaten my boogers and it's something I'm very proud of."

However, fans were not buying it. They said that the 4x NFL MVP was lying through his teeth and everyone could see what was actually going on.

Another user said that Rodgers has rarely spoken the truth during his Tuesday appearances on the show.

"Has he ever came on and told the truth 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣"

Other fans also joined in calling him out for apparently lying.

"My God, the man can't even stop himself from lying when he knows we all saw the video," one fan said.
"Nice to see this is the sum total of what the Jets' Aaron Rodgers trade turned into," another fan said.
"I turned the show off at this point. 🤮🤢," one fan said, possibly not very seriously.

"Washed," another fan quipped.

Aaron Rodgers suggests what the Jets' mindset should be

When they later discussed the Jets' blowout loss to the Steelers and how they were dealing with it, Aaron Rodgers said that the team should deal with it in a stoic manner.

They should first imagine the worst-case scenario, come to terms with it, mentally, then take themselves to the other extreme and imagine everything going correctly. And then deal with that as well.

According to Rodgers, this would help them deal with losses as well as victories and "move on and play free." The New York Jets next play the New England Patriots on Sunday, in an away fixture.
