NFL fans seem to have lost their patience with singer Ciara and her latest music video.

NFL fans aren't pleased with singer Ciara's newest single. The wife of Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson released a new single last week and fans can't stop talking about it.

The comments for the new single "Da Girls" and the corresponding music video haven't been entirely positive though.

Fans initially compared the music video to Beyonce's hit "7/11," saying that it looked as if she carbon copied the music video to make her own. Some fans are saying that the vibe from the music video isn't what they would expect from someone in their late 30s who is happily married with children. While their judgment is arguably unwarranted, a lot of comments on Ciara's post are similar.

Of course, some NFL fans got their jabs in by blaming Russell Wilson, saying that he must be her new songwriter.

Despite conficting opinions on the song and music video, "Da Girls" has 40,000 views in five days on Vevo's YouTube Channel.

Ciara shares how she became confident in Hollywood

Ciara got her start in the music industry when she was just 18 years old and was signed by LaFace Records. The now 37 year old has not only found success in the music industry but she has also been hired for hosting jobs as well as creating her own skincare and clothing lines.

However, the singer recently told PopSugar that she wasn't always as confident as she is now.

"Confidence took time for me. I was taking on so much as a young girl. ... You gotta be confident when you're doing that. Even when you don't know what you're doing — be confidently wrong.
"People don't see you or hear you if you're not confident — I learned that early on, and I've just worked at it over the years. Every year, I get better; through every experience, I get better."

Ciara said that she took the 'fake it until you make it' approach in the entertainment industry. She said that even when she wasn't completely confident that she was doing things right, she still did them with confidence. She said that throughout the years as she built her career, her confidence improved.
